Letter: What Does the Prospective MP for Wisley Think About the Current Planning Issue?

It would be interesting to know the views of Angela Richardson MP on Wisley.

Currently, those of us on the east side of Guildford are in Mole Valley constituency but I gather will become part of Guildford constituency at the next election.

MPs of course only normally answer letters from their own constituents. But we are in unusual times given the threat to concrete over the beautiful farmland adjoining the Wisley airstrip.

I have written to Mrs Richardson asking for her views but regretfully, there has been a deafening silence, I regret. I feel that potential voters in her constituency here would be interested to know whose side she is on. Perhaps someone in the current Guildford constituency could ask her the question?

Editor’s comment: MPs, by convention, do not normally comment on local issues outside their constituency however in this case Angela Richardson MP (Conservative Guildford) has been invited to respond as well as Sir Paul Beresford MP (Conservative, Mole Valley).
