In response to: ‘We’ll Make Sure Guildford’s Voice Is Heard’ Says Council Leader

I have just received the Gazette – a leaflet paid for by the Liberal Democrats.

While the Zöe Franklin show rumbles on unabated, there is nothing about our present local councillors, nor is there any statement from the leader of our council.

A sweeping statement was made that “Many former Conservatives are now hoping to be elected as Reform councillors as they seek to hide from their past record.”

I would be interested to know how this conclusion was reached as no party has, as yet, declared its candidates. I echo Mr Emery’s comments on Guildford’s “thriving” community.
