Surrey Police continues to appeal for witnesses after a man was found with serious head injuries in Portsmouth Road near the junction with Turnham Close at around 3am on Saturday (August 22).

Officers would still like to trace the drivers of two other cars – a large silver saloon, possibly an old style Mercedes and a small red hatchback which was driving behind it. Both cars were seen travelling through Guildford’s gyratory system at around 2.55am on Saturday, 20 August and may have witnessed the incident.
