Friday 25 October

18:30 The Mayor, Councillor Richard Billington, accompanied by the Mayoress, Mrs Lynda Billington,  joins the Mayors and Chairmen of the Surrey Districts for a Charity Quiz Night at the Hersham Community Centre, Hersham; by invitation of the Mayor of Elmbridge, Councillor Mary Sheldon. All proceeds from this event will go to Councillor Sheldon’s chosen charities.

Saturday 26 October

19:15 The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, attends a charity concert in aid of MIND at St Joseph’s Church, Guildford.

Wednesday 30 October

12:30 The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, attends Guildford Borough Council’s Lakeside Fun Day at the Lakeside Nature Reserve, Ash Vale.

19:00 The Mayor and Mayoress join the Mayors and Chairmen of the Surrey Districts at a Volunteers’ Reception & Buffet Supper at County Hall, in celebration and thanks for the many volunteers who do so much for Surrey residents; by invitation of the Chairman of Surrey County Council, Councillor Tony Samuels.

Friday 1 November

19:15 The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, attends the ABF: The Soldiers’ Charity Surrey Branch’s Antiques Valuation Evening & Supper at the Army Reserve Centre, Farnham.

Saturday 2 November

10:15 The Mayor attends the Guildford Arts Society Autumn Exhibition Private Viewing at West Horsley Place, West Horsley.

18:30 The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, attends the Guildford Lions Fireworks Fiesta. The Mayor will address the crowd from the Guildhall balcony before the Torchlight Procession heads off to Stoke Park where the Mayor will light the Town Beacon and enjoy the fireworks display.

19:20 The Deputy Mayor, Councillor Marsha Moseley, accompanied by her Consort, Councillor Nigel Manning, attends the Guildford Choral Society Mozart. Mass in C Minor Concert at Guildford Cathedral.

Sunday 3 November

17:50 The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, attends the Guildford Town Chaplaincy Commissioning of Street Angels, Community Angels and Volunteer Chaplains at Christ Church, Guildford.

Monday 4 November

17:00 The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, attends the Launch of Innovation Room at Guildford College, Guildford.

Tuesday 5 November

14:00 The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, attends the Voluntary Action South West Surrey Annual General Meeting at St Nicolas’ Church Parish Room, Guildford.

Wednesday 6 November

18:50 The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, attends the Royal Grammar School’s King’s Lecture Michaelmas Term 2019 in the Auditorium at the Royal Grammar School, Guildford.

18:30 The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, attends the Guildford Philanthropy Reception at Guildhall, Guildford.

Friday 8 November

09:00 The Deputy Mayor, accompanied by her Consort, Councillor Nigel Manning, attends the Community Matters Breakfast Event at Pilgrim Wood Residential Care Home, Sandy Lane, Guildford.

10:00 The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, attends the Waitrose Guildford’s Community Cheque Presentation at Waitrose, York Road, Guildford.

14:00 The Mayor and Mayoress, join fellow Councillors, Honorary Aldermen and other volunteers in the High Street to sell poppies for the annual Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

15:20 The Mayor attends the Guildford Institute’s Annual General Meeting at Ward Street, Guildford.

18:30 The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, attends the Guildford Cathedral Lay Clerks Christmas Cracker CD Launch at Guildford Cathedral.

Saturday 9 November

14:30 The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, attends the Scouts District Cub Craft Challenge at Weyfield Primary School, Guildford.

19:15 The Mayor and Mayoress attend the Vivace Chorus Mass in Blue Concert at G Live, Guildford.

Sunday 10 November

08:45 The Mayor arrives at the Guildhall to prepare to meet Brigadier Paul Evans OBE DL and lead the Council procession to Holy Trinity Church for Guildford’s annual Service of Remembrance. During this year’s special service to commemorate 100 years since the end of the First World War ,veterans, serving personnel and members of local service organisations will march, to the music of the Friary Guildford Brass Band, to the Castle Grounds, where they will be joined by the Mayor and civic procession to continue the service, observe the 2-minutes silence at 11am and lay wreaths at both Memorials.

10:15 The Deputy Mayor, accompanied by her Consort, Councillor Nigel Manning, attends the Ash Parish Council’s Remembrance Service at the Ash Centre, Ash.
