Guildford’s Mayor Richard Billington

Friday 26 July

18:30 The Mayor, Councillor Richard Billington, accompanied by the Mayoress, Mrs Lynda Billington, joins the Mayors and Chairmen of the Surrey Districts for a Charity Fish ‘n’ Chips & Entertainment Night at The Greeno Centre, Glebelands Gardens, Shepperton; by invitation of the Mayor of Spelthorne, Councillor Mary Madams. Proceeds from this event will go towards the Mayor of Spelthorne’s chosen charities.

Saturday 27 July

14:30 The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, joins the Mayors and Chairmen of the Surrey Districts for a Charity Afternoon Tea with Fizz at Blanchman’s Farm Local Nature Reserve, Warlingham; by invitation of the Chairman of Tandridge, Councillor Jeremy Pursehouse. Proceeds from this event will go towards the Chairman’s chosen charities.

Monday 29 July

15:35 The Mayor attends the presentation of the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Services by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey, Mr Michael More-Molyneux, to the Guildford Town Guides at Guildford House Gallery, High Street, Guildford.

Wednesday 31 July

10:30 The Mayor attends a coffee morning with the residents of Abbot’s Hospital, High Street, Guildford.

16.00 The Mayor attends Millmead House for a briefing for the Council Meeting at 7pm.

17:00 The Mayor visits Loseley House for Afternoon Tea and a tour of the house, by invitation of Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey, Mr Michael More-Molyneux.

19:00 The Mayor Chairs a meeting of the Council in the Council Chamber.

Saturday 3 August

10:30 The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, attends the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association Annual Convention (Jalsa UK) at Oaklands Farm, Bordon.

12:30 The Deputy Mayor, Councillor Marsha Moseley, accompanied by her Consort, Councillor Nigel Manning, attends Guildford Borough Council’s Heritage Services’ ‘Inspired by Alice Day’ at Guildford Castle, Guildford.

Thursday 8 August

09:45 The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, attends Experience Guildford’s ‘Guildford-on-Sea’ event at the Electric Theatre, Guildford.

11:00 The Mayor and Mayoress visit Guildford Borough Council’s Leisure Services’ playschemes CHIPS at Guildford Grove School and FISH at King’s College, Guildford.

Saturday 10 August

19:15 The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, attends the Guildford Chamber Choir Concert at Holy Trinity Church, Guildford.
