Following on from the hugely popular community and historic event held in September 2014, Stoughton in the Great War, there are plans to stage another in September 2018.

A meeting is being held to discuss plans and ideas. The meeting takes place at Emmanuel Church, Stoughton, on Friday, July 14 at 7.30pm.

Organisers Sheila Willis, David Rose and Pauline Searle say: “We would love to see as many people as possible: individuals, groups, churches, clubs, schools, residents’ associations, neighbourhood watch, and so on, so we can make this another wonderful event for our community.”

The event, Stoughton at the end of the Great War, will take place on Saturday afternoon, September 15, 2018, at Cardwells Keep, off Stoughton Road.
