Missing Woman Search – Body Found

Police officers searching for missing Guildford woman Borbala Zavodszki have found a woman’s body.

At around 12.45am today (Wednesday, September 9) Surrey Search and Rescue discovered a body at a location off Parkway, by Stoke Park, in Guildford.

Although the body has yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be that of Borbala Zavodszki and her next of kin have been informed of the discovery.

The 58-year-old, who is originally from Hungary, was reported missing by a family member on Sunday, August 30.

The death is being treated as unexplained but at this stage there is no indication of any third party involvement. A post-mortem and inquest will take place at a later date.
