The school outing coach that was wedged across Mountside last week

From Brian Holt

When I first started driving coaches on school runs the company told me the school children will tell me the route, but then, after a short distance away from the school, they decided to have some fun.

Coming to a crossroads I asked, “Which way now? Some said, “Turn left,” others “Turn right,” and some, “Straight on.”

Needless to say I chose the wrong option and residents in one road we entered came out and had a right go at me. Of course, the children found it hilarious.

The next time, when on a different run from that school, before we left I told them if anyone tried to send me the wrong way I would take them all back to school.

Worked a treat!
