Have your say on proposed new design advice for homeowners extending or altering properties

People are being asked to give their views on the new Residential Extensions and Alterations Supplementary Planning Document, or SPD, that will replace the current Residential Extensions Guide (2004), should the council decide to adopt it.

The guide contains key information and guidance for homeowners and applicants on how to deliver well-designed residential extensions and alterations.

The consultation runs until June 4. For more information, to view the document and to find out how to give your views, visit https://getinvolved.guildford.gov.uk.

Hard copies of the documents are available at the council’s main reception at Millmead and in all libraries across the borough.
