The iconic children’s musical masterpiece, Peter and the Wolf, is the centrepiece of Guildford Symphony Orchestra’s family concert on Sunday, October 7.

The concert, in St Catherine’s School, Bramley’s beautiful concert hall, brings a zoo-full of animals to life through music, introducing children to the amazing orchestral soundscape in a fun and informal way.

Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf is a brilliant musical story, narrated here by David Leonard – who played Miss Trunchbull in the RSC’s production of Matilda the Musical – with the orchestral instruments representing the animals, building the tension and providing the drama.

Actor David Leonard will narrate.

The concert starts at 3.30pm. For tickets and more information, visit www.g-s-o.org.uk or call 01483 41584.
