Surrey Artists Open Studios will be running an autumn event from Friday, October 1 to Sunday, October 24, and included is Ok0:Art in Onslow Village.
The event will link up with wider celebrations of arts and crafts across Surrey, which will be running throughout October.
After a successful Open Studios in June, Oko:Art in Onslow Village (https://www.okoart.co.uk) will again be opening its doors to welcome visitors.
This time, complementing the paintings of Tania Oko and Becca Clegg, whose studios will be open, will be sculpture and ceramics by Onslow Village-based ceramicist Julie Barham and photographer Avril Jones.
Julie’s seedpods and tableware and Avril’s views of landscape and flowers will sit beside Tania’s abstract and poured acrylic pieces and Becca’s landscape paintings and prints.
Becca Clegg said: “This time we will be displaying smaller, more affordable, paintings prints and tableware, which would make unique Christmas gifts. Prices will be upwards of £30, with us still displaying some of the larger signature pieces that our gallery space allows us to display so well.”
Many artists will join forces to form trails and the Guildford Trail will link OKO:Art Gallery with studios in Farnham and Seale. Visit https://surreyopenstudios.org.uk/open-studio/artists-studios-and-exhibition-at-okoart-onlsow-village/ for details.
Studios will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for four weekends, from 11am to 5pm. Refer to the website as opening times and days vary from studio to studio: https://surreyopenstudios.org.uk/open-studios.
