Guildford Institute and Guildford Arts are joining together to present local artist Adam Aaronson in their Annual Arts Lecture.
Adam will talk about his career highlights at the Guildford Institute in Ward Street on Friday, May 31.
His passion for free-blown glass, an unpredictable and seductive artistic medium, remains undimmed after almost 40 years.
Adam adds a modern twist to classic methods from his studio in Surrey, where he also runs glassblowing courses for beginners.
He has exhibited all over the world and has been commissioned to make work for the Royal Academy of Arts in London, Italy’s venerable Salviati Glass Studio, the Museum of Art and Design in New York and The British Museum, among others.
The talk will be followed by drinks and canapés with the talk running from 6.30pm to 7.30pm and the reception following until 8.15pm.
Tickets cost £12 to include a glass of Prosecco and canapés.
