Vintage pictures of Guildford in the 1950s and 60s will be shown by local historian David Rose in another afternoon of nostalgia raising funds for the British Heart Foundation.
It takes place at the Holiday Inn, Egerton Road, Guildford, on Friday, October 16, at 2pm.
It follows on from a similar successful afternoon last year. And once again the afternoon will be rounded off with some live music provided by David, who will be joined by Guildford musicians Mick Douglas and Johnny Kelly, both stalwarts of the local music scene from the period in question.
Images in David’s talk this time will feature lots of Guildford street scenes from yesteryear including the floods of September 1968.
Tickets are £6 and can be bought in advance from the chairman of the Guildford & Godalming branch of the British Heart Foundation, Shirley West, on 01483 563071.
