The University of Surrey is inviting all to come and celebrate The Queen’s 70 years of service on Saturday and Sunday June 4 – 5 at the lake on the Stag Hill campus.
A spokesperson for the university said: “Bring along your family and friends to a spectacular, free jubilee-themed event set over two days, with music, movies, entertainment and a fun zone everyone can enjoy.”
Join them for a movie marathon of British classics, followed by a live broadcast of the Platinum Party at The Palace starting at 7.30pm.
Sunday 5 June from 12-8pm
Celebrate with an afternoon of live music by the lake, hosted by Guildford-based singer-songwriter, Gavin Thomas including live performances from our incredibly talented students.
The spokesperson said: “Everyone is welcome to join us for this momentous occasion. So bring a picnic, enjoy a delicious afternoon tea, or visit one of the licensed bars and stalls serving a selection of hot food and drinks.”
