Notice: Emergency Services Raising Money For Great Ormond Street

Between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, July 15, a charity car wash will take place at Guildford Fire Station in Ladymead and at Leatherhead Fire Station, on Cobham Road in Fetcham.

If you’re not around to get your car cleaned on the day, three members of the police force, Dave Evans, Alec Lenton and his son Mark are using their well-earned rest days to take part in The London Triathlon. They are looking for sponsorship to raise £1,500 for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The triathlon is on Saturday July 22 and consists of a 750m swim in London Docklands, a 20km bike ride and a 5km run. The triathlon Team leader is chef Gordon Ramsay.
