From puppet making to sing songing, join in the fun this February Half Term at Watts Gallery Artists Village and delve into the world of Christina Rossetti and the Pre-Raphaelites.
There’s a lot to look forward to. Activities include a Terracotta Clay Goblins workshop, where you can sculpt a goblin from terracotta clay, inspired by Christina Rossetti’s poem ‘Goblin Market’.
‘Puppets, Poetry & Projections’ will be an opportunity to make shadow puppets, inspired by the stories and characters in Christina Rossetti’s poetry, to create live animation.
At ‘Sing Song’ sessions, recommended for under 5s, there will be stories inspired by Christina Rossettti’s Sing Song poems for children, who can join in with songs and rhymes featuring fun characters like the pig in the wig.
All activities take place between Tuesday, February 19 and Sunday, February 24. For more information about all these activities and how to book, visit www.wattsgallery.org.uk/whats-on/february-half-term-19/.
