Why is this free parking only available if you use the Ringo app? If it’s free, it should be free for everybody.

I quite agree, I even emailed RingGo to ask the same question. Needless to say I have had no response from them. It is a disgrace that those without a smartphone are unable to park for free.

It’s also rather mean to make this free parking available from 3PM only, just as people need to collect children from school. Most of us want to go shopping earlier and will, in fact, spend more if we have time for coffee or lunch as well.
Ringo makes an extra charge over the cash/card option, so how is it going to be free if one uses their app? It makes no sense.
