Local mental health charity, Oakleaf Enterprise, will be running free mindfulness and yoga sessions in November.
Mindfulness is proven to help with stress, anxiety, depression and addictive behaviours and can even have a positive effect on physical problems like hypertension, heart disease and chronic pain. The session will take place on Friday, November 18 between 1.30pm and 3pm in St Peters Church, Hazel Avenue, Bellfields.
Yoga sessions will commence at 2pm on Monday, November 7 at St Claire’s Church, Cabell Road, Park Barn. The sessions are designed to help with anxiety management and dealing with stress. Bring a yoga mat if you have one and wear clothing that isn’t restricting.
