With Guildford Museum current closed for maintenance work, its team is once again taking to the road this summer.
Highlights include:
Bringing Medieval Guildford back to life with free family fun in the Castle Grounds on Saturday, June 15.
Linking historic past and present objects with their location at Shackleford Village Fete on Saturday, June 22, and at Wood Street Village Show on Saturday, July 20.
People and Places is a free exhibition at Guildford House Gallery from Saturday July 20 to Sunday, September 22.
Inspired By Alice – Family Fun Day is a free entertainment based on Lewis Carroll’s famous character at the Castle Grounds on Saturday, August 3.
Create an origami boat for free at our stand at Guildford-on-Sea Urban Beach from Thursday to Saturday, August 8 to 10.
A range of fascinating historic objects in Guildford Museum’s collection can be viewed online.
While the museum is temporarily closed, activities that usually take place there, such as Coffee Time Talks, Saturday Family Fun and finds identification will be at Guildford House Gallery.
