An inspiring collection of photography will be on display at the Guildford Institute from Monday, January 8 to Saturday, January 27, as Guildford Photographic Society presents its exhibition of members’ work entitled Photography Far and Wide.
It features 128 photographs from 32 club members, encompassing landscape, wildlife, architecture, portraiture and travel images.
Willie Jamieson, Guildford Photographic Society chairman said: “The outstanding images on display demonstrate the depth and breadth of our members’ photography skills. A number of the winning and commended images come from relatively new members, who have really developed their skills since joining the club. We look forward to seeing them continuing to progress their photography and hope their example will encourage others to join our friendly club.”
The exhibition is open from 9.30am to 5.30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, from 9.30am to 12.30pm on Wednesday and from 10am to 2pm on Saturday. Entry is free.
Guildford Institute is located on Ward Street, Guildford GU1 4LH.
