Surrey’s Laudamus Chamber Choir has organised a fundraising concert in aid of the Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, which supports families caring for a child with a life threatening or terminal illness.
The concert will take place at 6pm on Sunday, November 19, at All Saints Church, Ockham, GU23 6NL.
The programme will include Schubert’s Mass in G, Handel’s Coronation Anthems and Mozart’s Vespers.
Emma Haines, director of marketing and fundraising at Rainbow Trust, said: “We are so thankful that Laudamus is putting on such a fantastic event. It’s going to be a great evening raising vital funds and awareness for Rainbow Trust. The amount raised from the event will go towards supporting local families with a seriously ill child through our Surrey Care Team of Family Support Workers.”
Rainbow Trust is a national charity which offers emotional and practical support for the whole family, from their child’s diagnosis, during treatment and, if needed, through bereavement and beyond. It relies almost entirely on voluntary donations and thanks to its generous supporters helps over 2,000 families in England.
Tickets for the concert can be obtained by emailing chairman@laudamuschamberchoir.org.uk and cost £10 in advance or £12 on the door.
