Former Royal Grammar School pupil Keith Browning has written a book looking at the history of the school and what Guildford was like in the 1960s.

Keith will be launching the book, Sixty Years On – A Decade of Turmoil at the RGS, on Wednesday, June 26, where copies can be bought.

These will be at Ben’s Collectors Record shop in Tunsgate from noon and later at the Three Pigeons pub in the High Street from 5pm to 8pm.

I attended The Three Pigeons at 6.30pm on Wednesday hoping to meet Ben and possibly Keith. I attended the RGS in the 60s and I’m fairly sure that I’m in the photo of “old boys”. The staff at the pub knew nothing about the event and there did not appear to be any customers aware of it either.
