Are you looking for a way to keep fit over the winter months?

If you are thinking of taking up a new sport or hobby, either to keep fit or to improve your social life, why not visit in the Wey Valley Indoor Bowls Club, based in the heart of Stoke Park, Guildford.

It is hosting open weekends on September, 24 and 25 and October 1 and 2, 10am to 2pm for visitors to see the fantastic bowls facility and experience the friendly and welcoming environment.

The club was opened in 1972 and is often described as Guildford’s ‘hidden gem’. This year is extra special as the club is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

There is a well-stocked bar café and the club area is available to host events, parties and meetings.

Indoor bowls is not just great exercise. It is a safe way to make friends and to become part of a community of like-minded people.
