The Royal Surrey County Hospital’s choir comprises staff, volunteers and friends of the hospital, who enjoy singing to escape the sometimes difficult work encountered working in a hospital environment.
Twice a year the choir performs a concert in aid of The Fountain Centre Charity, which provides advice, support, community and complimentary therapies to those whose lives have been affected by cancer in the Surrey area. The Fountain Centre is solely reliant on charitable donations to continue to provide this invaluable service.
At 7pm on Sunday, July 23, the choir will perform specially arranged songs from The Great American Songbook at Holy Trinity Church on Guildford High Street.
The evening will feature professional performers and musicians who are donating their time and talent to ensure that this will be a night to remember.
A band, formed to support the evening, will be led by West End musical director Grant Martin.
Tickets cost £20 each and are available to buy online at www.thelittleboxoffice.com/fountaincentre.
