Notice: Sunday Times Watercolour Competition Exhibition Comes To Guildford House Gallery

The Sunday Times Watercolour Competition is now in its 32nd year and continues to celebrate and reward excellence and originality in the medium of watercolour.

It remains the largest and most prestigious showcase of contemporary watercolour painting in the UK.

Aidan Potts has received the £3,000 Second Prize for his painting, ‘Pavement Primrose’.

The 2019 judging panel for the competition were artists Sophie Charalambous and Barbara Nicholls, Simon Martin, Director of the Pallant House Gallery in Chichester, Helen Waters, Director of the Cristea Roberts Gallery in London and Louis Wise, critic and writer for The Sunday Times.

From Saturday, November 16 to Thursday, January 2, 2020, Guildford House Gallery in the High Street will once again exhibit work submitted to the competition.

Entry is free and the gallery is open from 10am to 4.45pm.
