Rambles are taking place from Fairlands Community Centre hall on Saturday, October 5, in which you can help raise funds for BBC’s Children in Need, promoted by the TV show Countryfile.
There is a one-mile Pudsey Bear trail for parents with young children, while a longer 4.5 mile walk goes through countryside to Wood Street Village and its common, on to Pinks Hill and back to Fairlands via Broadstreet Common.
This second walk will include a team of walk leaders with local historian and writer David Rose pointing out fascinations history details and facts along the way.
Donations can be made at the beginning of each ramble, dogs welcome on leads and refreshments at the hall.
