Onslow Infant School in Onslow Village celebrated its 50th birthday from on Monday, June 5 with staff and children dressing in the style of the past five decades followed by a children’s street-style party on the playground, writes Pete Wright, acting head teacher.

All the children formed up in the playground to form a massive 50 for the  celebrations.

Later in the week, there was a coffee morning and whole school photo shoot including drone pics.

The week culminated in an exhibition of the children’s learning centred around the number 50. On Friday, June 9, the children, parents and staff partied the afternoon away complete with ice cream van and entertainment for children and adults alike.
