Police Find Body in University Campus

The body of a man believed to be in his late teens was discovered in woodland at Manor Park in Guildford yesterday (November 6).

A police statement has been received: “The body was found around 1-30pm by a Surrey Police response officer. Officers were conducting enquiries in the area following reports of a concern for safety for a man who had been reported missing.

“The death is currently being treated as unexplained and officers are investigating the full circumstances. However at this stage there is no indication of any third party involvement.

“A post mortem examination will be carried out in due course and enquiries are ongoing.
