Police Find Suspected Class A Drugs During Car Search in Tongham

A man was arrested on Saturday evening (October 26) after police searched a car in Tongham and found eight bags of suspected class A drugs.

Officers had spotted suspicious activity linked to a vehicle in Weybourne Road, Aldershot, at around 10pm.

The car was then driven over the county border into Tongham and stopped in Grange Road.

Officers searched the vehicle and found eight bags of suspected Class A drugs and £120 in cash.

Hampshire police report that a 28-year-old man from Rowley Regis in the West Midlands was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A.

He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
