Police Still Seeking Witnesses to Serious Sexual Assault

Surrey police are continuing to appeal for witnesses following a serious sexual assault in Wisley Lane, an area popular with dog walkers, between 8 and 9.30pm on Monday, April 27.

A 52-year-old man has been arrested and released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.

Detective Sergeant Andy Cooper said: “We believe the suspect and the victim are known to each other. We would like to reassure the public that we are not looking for anyone else, except possible witnesses

“We are hopeful that someone may have seen something which could be useful to our investigation. If you have any information which might help, please come forward straight away.”
