Popular Ockham Pub Is Getting a Six-Figure Makeover

The Black Swan pub in Ockham will reopen this spring following a full refurbishment inside and out.

The venue closed temporarily on Monday (February 9) for the refurbishment, costing a six-figure sum, to begin.

The proposed reopening date is March 6. A relaunch party open to the public is being planned, featuring food and drink tastings plus live music.

With its new look and new menu, The Black Swan is set to host a lively calendar of entertainment throughout the year.

At present the venue – part part of the Metropolitan Pub Company brand – is recruiting new staff and looking to fill front-of-house and kitchen porter roles.
