Queen tribute band, Forever Queen, will be playing at the Keystone pub, Portsmouth Road, Guildford on Saturday, June 28, to raise funds for the halow project.
The Portsmouth-based band have been performing together for the last two years and are led by Mark Mulholland. The four excellent musicians are known for their passion and performance always delivering a knock-out show.
The Keystone is known for its music nights supporting local talent as well as local charities. Tickets are £10 per person (£8 concessions). These can be bought ahead of the event from the Keystone or from the halow project (01483 447960 oremail hannah.a@halowproject.org.uk).
Keystone proprietor Richard Jaehme said: “We are really keen to support live music and to welcome Forever Queen for the first time in Guildford. Ticket sales are going really well, so I strongly suggest any Queen fans get their tickets as soon as possible.
Doors open on the evening at 7.30pm (a reduced pub menu and finger food will be available to purchase at the bar). The band’s set will start at 8.30pm.
The halow project is a charity committed to supporting young people with a learning disability to have the same life choices and chances as any other young person. From its community based social activities and learning programmes, to its one-to-one personalised support via its Buddy service, halow helps young people to gain confidence, skills and be supported to live as independently as possible.
