Guildford City’s match against Tadley Calleva was called off last night because the pitch at the Spectrum ground was unplayable.
Brian Holt a member of the cub’s committee told The Dragon: “The referee called it off at 6.20pm as the ball would not bounce, and there was the forecast of more rain in the evening.
“It was pointless in starting a match that would never have finished.”
“But we now have a home league game this Saturday at 3pm: City vs Horley Town.”
The match against Tadley Calleva is to be re-arranged.
