“There is no dissatisfaction” with the attendance at a Holy Trinity residents group by the three incumbent Conservative councillors, Geoff Davis, Nils Christiansen and Dennis Paul.
The statement from the chairman of the Holy Trinity Amenity Group (HTAG), David Stokes, follows news of complaints about the way Conservative candidate selection meetings have been arranged in the town centre Holy Trinity ward.
Stokes told The Guildford Dragon NEWS: “There is no dissatisfaction with their attendance of our meetings that I am aware of. We do not always agree with their policies but they are available to explain them if asked.”
According to HTAG records, since March 2017, Cllrs Davis and Christiansen attended one of the five appropriate meetings held while Cllr Paul attended three.
It is understood that a further Holy Trinity Conservative candidate selection meeting, for the borough council elections to be held in May next year, is being arranged.
