You might have thought that hospital scrubs had to be boring blue or green. Wrong, as this photo shows.

Staff members from Compton Ward, ICU, Critical Care Outreach, Pharmacy, Maternity and Housekeeping

Staff at the Royal Surrey scrubbed up to put on a colourful outdoor fashion show during their lunch breaks to say thank you to the local community for their support during the pandemic.

Showing their affection for those who supported them with hand heart shapes, they modelled some of the 800 pairs of colourful scrubs that have been donated by people across Surrey. Included were scrubs decorated with superheroes, flowers, butterflies and even Doctor Who, to cheer up both patients and colleagues
