Run4Good takes place on Sunday, June 23, at Hatchlands Park in East Clandon.

While mum or dad runs the 5k or 10k course through the off road woodland trails and green pastures at Hatchlands, the rest of the family can explore the event village in the private garden of the park.

With four different themed areas, the organisers are promising there’ll be something for everyone, including fitness, fashion, toys and home wares, lotions and potions, hair styling, manicures and reflexology. You’ll be able to sample some post run pilates or yoga, chat to a fitness professional, nutritionist or physiotherapist or simply just relax in this area.

There will be a children’s play area and pony rides, face painting, football, music and dance.

Melissa Lorch, the founder of Fit4Mum, who came up with the concept of Run4Good, said: “We live in one of the most affluent areas of the country yet there are pockets of real disadvantage where mums, dads and children rely on local charities to help make a difference to their lives.

“Run4Good is a family day out to help raise money for families in the wider community who really need it.”

All runners will receive a Spatone sponsored goody bag, including product samples, information on the importance of iron for energy, and other great offers.

To enter Run4Good (5k or 10k), visit www.fit4mum. Entry is £20 per runner with free admission for runners and their supporters to Hatchlands Park the the Run4Good event village. Keep up to date on the Run4Good with the twitter feed @run4good2013 or on Facebook at www.facebook.com/run4good2013.
