Did You See Serious A3 Collision?

Surrey Police is asking for witnesses to a serious two vehicle collision involving a black Nissan Micra and an orange Suzuki motorcycle on the northbound carriageway of the A3.

The incident occurred just before 5.30pm on Wednesday, September 4 as the vehicles were travelling in the outside lane near Ripley.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital by the air ambulance for treatment to what are believed to be serious but not life threatening injuries.

Both carriageways were closed for a period causing significant delays while emergency crews attended the scene and recovery of the vehicles was made.
