A new men’s hairdressing salon, Sharpline Barbers, has opened in the historic Angel Gate.

Sharpline Barbers opened in January 2023 in Angel Gate.

Sharpline Barbers is offering “to provide the modern man with the ultimate grooming experience by combing and traditional barbering methods alongside modern-day techniques and services, all at affordable prices, making our services accessible to all.”

Owner, Rebar, ran a barbers on Worplesdon Road for seven years before he came to his new shop in Angel Gate.

He said: “I’ve been 20 years as a barber, I have learnt a lot. My plan is to have our customers come back again and again.

“We offer them free chilled water, expresso coffee and a relaxed atmosphere. The customer must feel at home here.

“Everyone has said they loved the design of the new shop, especially the Charlie Chaplin picture.”

The design is comfortable and modern. “Everyone loves the Charlie Chaplin.”

He clearly loves his new location, adding: “Angel Gate is a very historic lane and I wanted my shop to fit in to that feeling exactly. All of the shops here are family businesses.”

He was enthusiastic talking to The Dragon. “This is a great location and I’ve put my heart into it.

“Business is building up and we are already getting regular customers and those from my old shop as well. Come along and give us a try, everyone is welcome.”
