Making her international debut at the WTT Youth Contender in Berlin, Eunice Lam (New Malden) won a match in the Under-13 Girls Singles but then lost to two very talented German girls and therefore did not progress from the group stages.

Aaron McKibbin won gold at the Czech Para Open in the Men’s Class 18 Doubles partnering Joshua Stacey. Aaron also won a bronze medal in the Men’s Class 8 Singles event.

Angad Saggu (Ashford) reached the last 64 in the Boys Under 15 Singles event at the WTT Youth Contender event in Havirov Czechia.

The Senior Schools International in the Isle of Man saw Angad Saggu win a bronze medal in the Under 14 Boys team event with England.

Angad also won a bronze in the individual Under 14 Boys Singles.

In the Under 16 Boys Team event Francesco Bonato won gold with England A.  As well as this Francesco won silver in the individual Under 16 Boys Singles.

England have named a 12-strong squad of players for the ISF World Schools Championship in Bahrain later this year which includes Surrey’s Krish Chotai (New Malden).

Surrey-based Paul Drinkhall (Ashford) picked up a win against a higher-ranked opponent at the WTT star Contender Ljubljana, before going out in the next round.

At the National Championships of the Under 13 Boys Singles Noah Byrne-Smith (New Malden) reached the quarter-finals and he reached the semi-finals of the Under 13 Boys Doubles partnering Oscar Nikolli as they lost 11-9 in the fifth set.

Arjun Anchan (South Croydon) reached the quarter-finals of the Under 12 Boys Singles event and the quarter-finals of the Doubles event with Anirudh Anchan (South Croydon). Yusuf Jamaluddin (New Malden) reached the quarter-finals of the Under 10 Boys Singles event.

Surrey-based Radoslav Kamberov (New Malden) was runner-up in the Men’s Singles at the London Grand Prix. 

Nahom Asgedom was Runner-up in the Under 21 Men’s Singles event. Cain Fagan (Wandsworth) won the Men’s Band 4 event. 

Alena Bondar (Sutton) won the Under-13s Girls event at the Sussex Women’s 2 star, where she was unseeded and beat both the top 2 seeds on the day. 

Akshita Subramanium was runner-up in the Girls Under-15 event. 

Kelly Ng (New Malden) made it to the quarter-finals of the Open Event.

Adam Laws (Godalming) reached the semi-final of the Isle of Wight Mountbatten Hospice Charity, losing out to Matt Ware. 

At the London Youth Games, the Sutton Girls team of Alena Bondar, Cheuk Ki Chow, Yoyo Chan and Hei Shun Lee won silver medals just losing in the final to Enfield. The Kingston Boys team were also runners-up as they lost in the final to Camden.

Charlton Ngitngit is the Surrey Under 13’s Boys Champion as he beat Arjun Anchan in the final. 

The Under 13 Surrey Boys plate winner was Akshay Sahay who beat Frankie Wong (New Malden).

The photography talents of Michael Loveder (Sutton) are well-known around the table tennis community and now he has received recognition in an international competition. 

Michael was awarded third place in the Sports and Games category of the EISA Maestro photo contest, having entered through the Amateur Photographer magazine.
