Guildford Lions Club is holding its annual charity runs at Hatchlands Park, East Clandon GU4 7RT on Sunday, September 8, in support of the British Heart Foundation and Guildford Lions Club Welfare Fund.
There will be two runs.
There is a 10km race for adults 16+ starting at at 11am with cash prizes for both men and women’s classes. The race will be started by Olympic silver medallist Roger Black with Guildford MP Anne Milton among the runners.
The second race is a more leisurely fun run of 5km for all members of the family starting at 1.30pm.
Medals will be provided to all runners in both events.
Entrance fees plus a small admin charge for on-line registration are £12 for the 10k and £10 for adults in the 5k with children aged five to 16, £5, with under fives free.
There will be free entry to the National Trust Hatchlands’ gardens before 1.30pm for all runners and guests.
