The Guildford Dragon NEWS hit the airwaves this week when its publisher/editor Martin Giles was interviewed by Dani Maimone on Brooklands Radio, an on-line radio station based in Weybridge.

Questions ranged from why the Guildford Dragon was created to the future of news publishing and the impact of digital technology and the internet, more generally.

Dani Maimone broadcasts weekly on Brooklands Radio and often has guests with a Guildford connection. She is also an occasional contributor to The Guildford Dragon NEWS.

After the interview Martin Giles said: “I had not been interviewed on radio before and I could not forget we were live on air. But thanks to Dani’s skilful questioning, after a somewhat hesitant start, it felt more like a normal conversation.”

“We should not forget that Guildford is the county town for Surrey and those who live in other nearby towns are still interested our news and events.”
