Thousands Enjoy Firework Fiesta That Lit Up the Night Sky

Guildford Lions Club’s Firework Fiesta at Stoke Park on Saturday, lit up the night sky and thrilled the large crowd who attended.

Eric James from the Guildford Lions Club said: “We would like to say a massive thank you to everybody who turned up to support our annual Firework Fiesta.

“Despite the weather, which was pretty awful on occasions, the Guildford public came togther in their thousands to make this a wonderful community event proving once again what a hardy bunch they are and passed off with no major incidents.

“It will be a few days before we can reconcile our financials, but we can confirm that all the profits will be used to support our local community, via our welfare fund, and also our nominated charity Oakleaf Enterprise, a mental health charity based in Guildford.”
