Two Charged As Part Of Probe Into Supply Of Illegal Drugs

Two people have been charged with money laundering in connection with an investigation in to Class A drug supply in north Surrey.

Surrey Police BadgeChristopher Monaghan, 42, and Karen Monaghan, 43, both of Norrels Drive, East Horsley, were arrested as a result of enquiries following the arrest of a number of people at addresses in Staines and Egham in February.

Mr Monaghan has also been charged with conspiracy to supply a Class A drug.

They are both due to appear at Guildford Crown Court on September 27.

Six men who were arrested as part of the operation in February are due to be sentenced at Kingston Crown Court on October 11 for Conspiracy to supply a Class A drug and other offences.

Nearly 21 kilos of cocaine was seized from the addresses in Staines and Egham.
