The next free local history and nostalgia get together focusing on the communities of Bellfields and Slyfield is taking place on Sunday afternoon, April 9.
All are welcome to Bellfields Remembered, being held once again at the Guildford Waterside Centre, Riverside, Bellfields, Guildford GU1 1LW, from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
The organisers, local historians Carol Brown and David Rose, say the previous get together in October was a great success and people asked for more!
This time it is being held during the afternoon and on a weekend to give an opportunity for those who could not attend before the chance to go along this time.
However, everyone who came before is welcome again, as there will be plenty of further vintage pictures to show of the Bellfields area and information to tell, plus the opportunity of everyone to share stories and memories and take along their own photos and memorabilia.
There’s no need to book, just go along. Refreshments will be available.
For more details, call David Rose on 01483 838960, or send an email to d.rose@vasws.org.uk
