Shoppers at the White Lion Walk had a ball when the shopping centre teamed up with the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre to promote this year’s pantomime.

Keeping with the Cinderella theme, competition entrants could win shoes from Shoon, jewellery

from Gemma J, sweets from Stateside Candy, coffee from Starbucks and shopping vouchers for stores such as Next, Cargo, Swarovski and H.Samuel.

Steve Cotney, the centre manager at White Lion Walk, said: “Our If The Shoe Fits event was a great success. We pride ourselves on working closely with other businesses in the town and over the years the Yvonne Arnaud has produced some fantastic shows, so it is always a pleasure to work with them on pantomimes like Cinderella.”

With a twist on a lucky dip, customers could pick a Cinderella character from a bank of sparkling shoeboxes to win a prize.

Budding Prince Charmings and princesses could join the Cub Club. This zone featured an arts and crafts workshop and Cinderella storytelling sessions. Cub Club members who took part in a treasure hunt around White Lion Walk, finding magical components that made up Cinderella’s dress, were rewarded with a treat from Millie’s Cookies.
