“Elvis is in the building!” is an old joke. But there might be a question mark about the Elvis that is due to appear at the Mandolay Hotel tomorrow night (Fri 20 Apr) as to whether he will fit!

The biggest Elvis in the world?

At 6′ 6″ he claims to be the tallest Elvis impersonator in the world. Guildford based impresario and promoter Lord Tim Croxford says: ‘There are Elvis tribute acts and there are Elvis tribute acts but this show is something really special.

“This Elvis has won competitions galore, is a regular in Las Vegas, spiritual home of the Elvis tribute and at 6 foot 5 inches tall he really can claim to be the biggest Elvis in the world!’

Lord Tim continues: “There’s no great secret to the success of his shows it’s all about great music played well in an atmosphere that reminds people why Elvis was and still is ‘The King’. It’s a fully produced West End style show with live musicians and plenty of ‘dancing in the aisles’.
