Witness Appeal Following Serious Collision

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision near Effingham at around 1.30pm yesterday (January 19).

Officers were called to Ranmore Common Road following reports of a collision between a BMW motorcycle and a Jaguar car.

South East Coast Ambulance Service attended and the rider of the motorcycle was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Ranmore Common Road was closed for several hours whilst emergency services attended the scene.

A police spokesperson said: “We are looking to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or have any dashcam or helmet footage that may have captured the incident or either vehicle driving prior to the collision.
