Witness Appeal Following Serious Collision on Clockwise M25

Officers are investigating a serious collision on the clockwise carriageway of the M25 between Junction 9 and Junction 10 this morning (July 11, 2019) involving an articulated lorry, a London taxi and a red Citroen.

The lorry driver has been taken to hospital by air ambulance with life threatening injuries. The occupants of the other vehicles are not injured.

The affected section of the M25 was closed until mid-afternoon while emergency services were at the scene and a large diesel spill was cleared. Lane one remained closed until Highways England completed repairs.

Surrey Police is appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have dash-cam footage of the driving of any of the vehicles before the collision, to get in touch.
