The four-year-old boy who was injured in a road accident on Friday (Jun 14) remains in a serious condition today (Jun 17). The incident occurred near the United Reformed Church on Wonersh Common Road as he was being walked by a relative to a pre-school that is part of the church.

It is understood that paramedics worked for an hour at the scene in Wonersh to stabilise the boy’s condition before he was airlifted to hospital. He suffered serious head injuries and is now reported to be in a London hospital.

One unconfirmed report is that the boy lives locally and that his family have recently moved to the area.
