A3 Collision Leaves Man With Serious Leg Injuries

logo-surrey-police-darkBGA man has been taken to hospital with serious leg injuries after his car was involved in a collision on the A3 near Guildford earlier this morning (March 29).

Only one vehicle was involved in the incident which took place around 5.45am on the southbound carriageway one mile north of Guildford.

The car, a blue Vauxhall Astra, ended up on an embankment following the incident. Surrey Fire & Rescue Service assisted in cutting the male driver free from his car.

He was taken to St George’s Hospital in Tooting.

One lane of the A3 was closed to allow the recovery.
